Saint Michael the Archangel

In response to the growing demand for above-ground burial space and a desire to provide for chapel services, St. Joseph Cemetery is pleased to announce that plans have been approved for construction of a new chapel mausoleum at the cemetery. Named in honor of St. Michael the Archangel, this beautiful new facility has been designed not only to be an enduring monument to those who have passed, but also to be a peaceful and serene sanctuary for the grieving.

To be nestled on the hill overlooking Peck’s Road, the new mausoleum will be constructed of reinforced concrete with beautiful granite facades. Its unique three-core design will feature a central chapel which will provide a sheltered environment for committal services and visitation. Religiously significant murals will lend to the peaceful and serene atmosphere where visitors will be encouraged to linger in private prayer and meditation.

St. Michael the Archangel Chapel Mausoleum will provide limited numbers of entombment crypts in both interior chapel and exterior locations. Cremation niches will also be provided for the inurnment of cremains.
